Friend Zone

Ahh yes, my sweet sweet old home. I don’t necessarily mind the friend zone, mostly the lies and hypocrisy that comes with it. I love being friends with females, and I’m fine with only being friends with females if that’s what they want. I mean the friend zone tends to get me half naked pictures of girls, which isn’t what I’m really aiming for in life, but obviously I’m not one to turn down these things. It’s not the actual being friends with a girl part that I hate, it’s the way that they act about it.

My favorite line out of women is that “our friendship is too good to ruin by dating” or something along those lines. Oh, so you’d rather date a guy who you have a meehhh relationship with because you’re already planning that breakup and never speaking to him again? This line is the most obvious lie ever and really unnecessary, you don’t have to protect my feelings, I’m an adult. Just give dudes the real reason you won’t be with em, because ALL of us know this is a joke.

I also love when women with boyfriends, or even husbands, tell me how I’d probably be better than the man they’re with. The logic here would be that you’re only into damaged relationships, obviously you’re staying for a reason. If I’m nicer than him and listen to you whine, and you say I’d treat you better, exactly what is the point of your relationship again? It’s obviously not going to work out in the end, and you’re clearly feeding me lies just so I’ll be around whenever you and your dude get into a fight. Luckily I’m nice enough to want to help people so I allow it to happen, but I know what’s really going on.

I’m also 100% fine with girls putting me in the friend zone because of my looks. Most women would think I’d be offended, but I completely get it. If you don’t want to date a dude that’s smaller than you, that is FINE. I would much rather here this, or any other, honest truth than the lies listed above. I love having friends and we can still be tight, just don’t lie. Lying is obnoxious and annoying. I don’t hate the friend zone one bit, just the lies of “friends” that come with it.
